What to expect on your first visit

The first time you visit Boyer Chiropractic & Wellness Center you will be welcomed by our friendly Chiropractic Assistant, Amber. She will assist you in the small amount of paper work that you will need to complete for your first visit and will help you answer any questions you may have.

Your Appointment with Dr. boyer includes the following:

Case History:

After your paperwork is complete, Dr. Boyer will greet you and invite you into the adjustment room where he will ask you questions, listen to your concerns and record your case history to understand your chief complaints. We may begin to discuss alternative solutions to help meet your other wellness goals.

Chiropractic Exam:

Dr. Boyer will then perform a chiropractic examination to determine where exactly your problem is. This includes using his hands to perform static and motion palpation and instrumentation of the spinal column. If your condition calls for it, he may decide to take a set of full spine X-rays.

Chiropractic Adjustment:

After the examination is completed and the specific area of the spine has been determined to be the problem, Dr. Boyer will make a hands on, specific chiropractic adjustment using one of the various adjusting tables. He will utilize the dynamics of the effectual Gonstead Specific Adjustment to get you back to optimal health as quickly as possible, with no “pre-planned” treatment programs. The goal of a Gonstead practitioner is to get a patient back on the road to health as quickly as possible and then leave the patient alone. In the words of Dr. Gonstead, “Find the subluxation, correct it, and then leave it alone”.

After your first adjustment, we will ask you to schedule your next follow up visit at the front desk.
