Chiropractic and Stress Management

Stress can be crippling.  It affects millions of people and is responsible for a lot of doctor visits annually.  It has so many negative effects on the body and can cause a variety of symptoms, which are usually treated with a variety of medications.

There are a lot of lifestyle medicine based solutions that can help you manage stress naturally.  I recommend eating a low carb whole foods diet, prioritizing sleep, engaging in some type of exercise program, using techniques such as deep breathing and meditation, and regular chiropractic care.

Getting regular chiropractic adjustments can help maintain a healthy nervous system.  Plus restoring function and range of motion to your spine help you move more and hurt less.  Feeling less pain allows your body to deal with the other stresses of life more effectively.

My motto is to be proactive and not reactive with your health.  If stress is getting you down, control what you can control.  Eat well, move more, go to bed earlier, meditate, and keep regular chiropractic appointments. Put yourself in control of your stress instead of your stress in control of you.
